Staff
Our staff are chosen for their love of animals, responsibility, honesty and commitment to the pets and clients entrusted to them. Our clients’ comments and praise to the dedication and service provided by our staff makes us very proud of them.
References from our clients in all areas of service are available.
Our aim is to ensure owners and their pooches have a very pawsitive and tail wagging experience.
About Judy and Paul:
We are life-long animal and dog lovers. Paul started walking dogs at nine years of age. Since 1973 we have adopted, trained and cared for many dogs, shelter dogs, mixed breeds, and purebreds.
Through the years we have dealt with and developed successful strategies to deal with many canine behaviour issues including excessive barking, digging, chewing, biting, aggression, separation anxiety, possessiveness, and phobias.
Besides our many years of practical experience, we believe in the importance of continuing to educate ourselves by:
Attending canine related seminars.
Taking pet related courses.
Participating in training and behaviour discussions with other knowledgeable people.
Reading books and watching videos by well respected behaviourists and trainers.
In 2004 we decided to open up A1 TailWaggers to provide high quality pet services for dog walking, puppy, cat and pet visits, private obedience training and canine behaviour consulting.
By volunteering our time in Shelter Rehabilitation Programs we continue our passion in training shelter dogs to become adoptable by putting a smile on their faces and a wag in their tails.
