Obedience training teaches responses to signals, cues or commands. Behaviour modification seeks to modify, extinguish or manage unacceptable behaviour.

Does your dog have a behaviour problem? such as:

House soils. Destructive chewing. Digging. Shyness. Pacing. Excessive barking. Play nips. Eats food off the table. Eats non- food items. Exhibits aggression toward other dogs. Exhibits aggression towards children or adults. Runs away. Destructive scratching. Separation anxiety. Phobias e.g. scared of going in water, scared of noise.

Some behaviour issues are quite easy to deal with, while others can be very difficult.

In order to properly identify the cause and the problem behaviour, we require you to fill out a detailed form. This will assist us in determining the root cause of the problem, and help us design a program to modify, manage or extinguish the behaviour.

Minor behaviour problems, are dealt with in one or two sessions. Dealing with more complex and difficult cases, additional sessions are necessary.

 

Behaviour Consulting Fees:

1 ½ hr consultation fee $120.00 + HST

Discount of $40.00 applies with package of 4 1 hr sessions or more.

1 hour behaviour sessions, $80.00 + HST each

Clients residing more than 30 minutes travel time from Don Mills and Eglinton Ave will be billed $5.00 for every additional 15 minutes of travel.

All consultations come with email and/or telephone follow up.
